This might well be an appropriate Yogi Berra-ism, “If you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.” The political carping and silly positioning begins early in every election season, focusing on positioning, not issues, amid the deep cynicism of political machines in most all levels of American politics — appalling and unfortunately normal.
So few people are spending so much offering few positive solutions. Fellow citizens, our current political system it is inane, insane and insulting to the hopeful, intelligent people of this nation.
Remember several years ago when because of the public uproar we outlawed “cold-calling” in less than 30 days with almost unanimous congressional approval? We need to do it again – this time to outlaw our political insanity. A good Yogi quote to finish: “If you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.”
So what would you recommend? We don’t like it, what do we suggest?
