Existing in a spontaneous, crowded frenetic world provides most of us a variety and vitality that drive happiness.  While the frenetic sometimes leaves something to be desired, the antithesis, monoculture, leaves a corners-of-the-mouth-turned-down emptiness, a population who  chose to go back and/or to withdraw from the world.

Most of us cherish the pleasure of larger community, neighborliness, and the exchange of ideas that exist in the broader, more progressive and slightly congested world.
